This Privacy Policy explains how ClipGenie, provided by TubeGuruji, handles personal information when you visit our website, join our waitlist, create an account, edit or generate media, connect social accounts, or use related features. It also describes choices and rights you may have regarding your information.

Account and signup information: your email address, name, profile image, sign-in provider, account identifiers and sign-in activity. If you join the waitlist, we store your email, signup source, signup time and offer eligibility.

Content and activity: videos, photos, audio, scripts, prompts, chat instructions, transcripts, captions, generated media, project settings and processing status. We also store plan and credit usage, onboarding progress, referrals, and information you submit for creator rewards, such as public post links and verification results.

Connected accounts: social account identifiers, profile information, authorization details needed to connect services, and posts, scheduling instructions and publishing status. Payment information includes payment processor customer and subscription identifiers, plan status and transaction records. Stripe handles checkout and payment card processing.

Technical information: browser and device information, IP address, visited pages, interactions, approximate location derived from network information, and diagnostic or security logs may be processed by our hosting, analytics and infrastructure providers. We also receive information you provide when contacting us.

We use information to create and secure accounts; store and process projects; generate edits, captions and media; publish posts you request; manage payments and credits; deliver signup offers and rewards; and send service messages. We also use information to troubleshoot problems, understand feature usage, improve the service, prevent abuse and comply with legal obligations.

Where applicable data protection law requires a legal basis, we process information to perform our agreement with you, pursue legitimate interests such as operating and securing the service, comply with legal duties, or act on consent where required. You may withdraw consent for consent-based processing without affecting processing that already occurred.

Features you request may send relevant media, audio, transcripts, scripts, prompts and editing instructions to external AI or media providers. Depending on the feature and configuration, these include Anthropic or Google for language and editing tasks, transcription providers, and image, voice or avatar generation services. Their processing and retention are governed by the terms applicable to those services.

We use providers for hosting, authentication, databases, storage and job processing, including InsForge; Stripe for billing; Composio and the social platforms you connect for account integrations; and an email delivery provider for messages. Providers receive the information needed for their role. Avoid uploading sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for your project.

Information is shared with the providers that operate the features you use, with social platforms when you authorize publishing, and with other parties when you direct us to share it. Media providers or social platforms may need a temporary accessible media link to fetch and process a file.

Content you publish to social platforms is subject to the audience and privacy settings you select there. Creator rewards submissions may be displayed in a public creator showcase, including your public post and creator information. Do not submit content for a public showcase unless you have permission to share it.

We may disclose information when legally required, to address fraud or security threats, or to protect rights and safety. Information may also transfer as part of a business reorganization or acquisition, subject to applicable privacy requirements.

We use cookies or similar browser storage to maintain authentication and save preferences such as theme settings. The website also loads Webtracky analytics to help measure visits and understand how the site is used. Analytics may process technical and browsing information.

You can manage cookies and local storage through your browser settings and use browser tools to restrict analytics scripts. Blocking authentication cookies can prevent sign-in or cause parts of the service to stop working. Browser controls do not remove information already stored by us or our providers.

We retain account and project information as needed to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations. Retention depends on the type of information and purpose; billing records, logs and backup copies may remain after active data is removed. We do not promise indefinite project storage or immediate erasure from every backup and external provider.

We use access controls and other technical measures intended to protect information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Protect your account credentials and keep copies of important media.

ClipGenie and its providers may process information in countries other than your own, where privacy laws may differ. Where required by applicable law, international transfers must be subject to appropriate safeguards.

You can manage projects in the app, disconnect social accounts in account settings, revoke permissions through the relevant social platform, and manage your subscription from billing. Disconnecting an integration does not delete content already published to a third-party platform. Marketing or lifecycle emails that include an unsubscribe link allow you to opt out of those messages; essential account and billing messages may still be sent.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of personal information, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or opt out of certain uses or disclosures. Contact us to request account deletion or exercise applicable rights. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where legally required or otherwise permitted. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

ClipGenie is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate steps to remove it.

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the service or our information practices. The date at the top shows the latest revision. We will provide additional notice and obtain consent for changes where required by applicable law.
